O R D E R

By way of present bail application, the applicant seeks regular bail in FIR No.0335/2024 registered under Sections 376(2)(n)/506 IPC at P.S. Moti Nagar, West Delhi.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the present case has been registered solely on account of breach of promise of marriage. It is stated that the prosecutrix never complained of any forcible physical relation, rather, the families of both sides were agreeable for the marriage; however, it was because of the grievance of the prosecutrix that the marriage was not performed. Learned counsel also refers to the statement of the prosecutrix recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. to the aforesaid extend. It is further informed that the parties have thereafter married each other on 29.07.2024 and that the marriage was performed at Arya Samaj Mandir and later on, registered.

marriage, which is also verified by the IO present in the Court. 4.

Considering that the FIR was registered for the reason of the applicant not keeping his promise to marry and that the marriage has now taken place, it is directed that the order passed on 26.07.2024, vide which the applicant was released on interim bail, is made absolute on the same terms and conditions.

The Bail Application stands disposed of.
