The petitioner seeks to restrain the respondent/South Delhi Municipal Corporation (for short, 'SDMC') from disturbing him from squatting at a site near the Transport Authority, District Centre, Janakpuri, New Delhi, where he claims he has been vending since the year 1994. 2.

Learned counsel for the respondents No.1 & 2/SDMC and the respondent No.3/Delhi Police oppose the maintainability of present petition on the ground that now that the Town Vending Committee (TVC) is in place, it is for the petitioner to approach the TVC for appropriate relief. 3.

The petitioner is granted liberty to approach the TVC with the grievances raised in the present petition.
