None appears for the appellant.

The record shows that even on the earlier dates, the appellant has not been appearing before this Court. This led to the Court issuing notices to the appellant through the SHO.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent had already remarried in the year 2019 before the filing of the present appeal, albeit after waiting for the statutory period for filing of an appeal from the date of passing of the order by the learned Family Court was over. However, the respondent has since been blessed with a son in July, 2021 from the said marriage as well.

In these circumstances, it appears that the appellant is no longer interested in pursuing the appeal which is, accordingly, dismissed in default and for non prosecution.
