The present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C has been filed by the Petitioners for quashing FIR No.680/2022 dated 19.08.2022, registered at Police Station Begum Pur, Delhi for offences punishable under Sections 341/506 IPC. Sections 354/354A/354B/354C/354D/509 IPC were added later after filing of the chargesheet.

The Petitioners and the Respondent No.2 herein belong to the same family. Material on record indicates that there are property disputes between the parties. The present FIR has been registered against the Petitioners at the instance of Respondent No.2. Chargesheet has been filed. 3.

It is stated that in view of the fact that there are complaints filed by both sides against each other, the parties have decided to buy peace and have amicably settled the disputes. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) dated 08.07.2024 has also been filed with the Petition which reads as under: The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Today, the Parties are present in Court. The Petitioners have been identified by their Counsel and the SI Nirmala, D-2856, PS Begampur. The Respondent No.2/complainant has been identified by her Counsel and the Investigating Officer SI Nirmala, D-2856, PS Begampur. The Respondent No.2/complainant states that he has settled all the disputes with the Petitioners out of his own free will, without pressure, coercion or undue influence. It is also stated that in the larger interest of the family she has decided not to pursue the present case any further and requests that the present FIR and the proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. The parties undertake that they will remain bound by the MoU dated 08.07.2024 and the proceedings recorded before this Court. 6.

The Parties who are present in Court today understand the implications of the present proceedings. In view of the settlement arrived at between the Parties, this Court is of the opinion that no useful purpose would be served in continuing with the present proceedings. Resultantly, the FIR No.680/2022 dated 19.08.2022, registered at Police Station Begum Pur, Delhi for offences punishable under Sections 341/506/354/354A/354B/354C/354D/509 IPC and the proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed.

With the above observations, the petition is disposed of, along with pending application(s), if any.
