The petitioners vide the present petitions under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seek quashing of cross FIRs No. 513/2023 and 512/2023 registered under Sections 323/341/427/506/34 and 323/34 respectively, registered at at P.S. emanating therefrom in view of the Settlement arrived at between the parties.

Issue notice. Learned Standing Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the State.

A request for quashing of the FIR has been made on account of the Settlement inter se the parties. It is submitted that the FIR arose out of a fight over parking that took place between the parties. The parties were able to amicably resolve the matter and the issues and undertake to bind by the Settlement Deed dated 22.07.2024.. The parties are present before this Court in person today, and have been identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer concerned.

Today, the complainants who are present in Court state that they have no objection if the FIR is quashed.

In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion. Hence, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIRs and the proceedings pursuant thereto. Moreover, there is no legal impediment in quashing the FIRs in question.

Accordingly, cross FIRs No. 513/2023 and 512/2023 registered under Sections 323/341/427/506/34 and 323/34IPC respectively, registered at P.S. Jaitpur, Delhi and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

The petitions stand disposed of.
