This petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (in short, 'CrPC') challenging the Order and Judgement dated 06.08.2022 passed in CA No. 25/2022, and the Order dated 30.11.2021 passed in CC No. 5887/2016. 2.

By the impugned order dated 30.11.2022, the application of the petitioner seeking modification of the interim maintenance during Covid-19 was dismissed, and he was further directed to pay the arrears within 3 months, failing which his defense would be struck off. The same was confirmed vide the Order and Judgement dated 06.08.2022. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioner states that in terms of the order dated 20.03.2023 of this Court, the petitioner has been regularly paying a sum of Rs. 40,000/- per month to the respondent from April, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. 2023. He submits that now the arrears till date would only be around Rs.90,000/-, which also the petitioner undertakes to pay in instalments to the respondent.

Keeping in view the above, the present petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to clear the arrears of maintenance as awarded by this Court vide its order dated 21.10.2019 passed in CRL.M.C. 5023/2018, titled Anu Sharma v. Manish Kr. Angirash, read with the order dated 20.03.2023 of this Court in the present petition, within a period of three months from today. The petitioner shall also continue to pay to the respondent the monthly maintenance as had been fixed by the above referred order dated 21.10.2019. 5.

The petition is disposed of in terms of the above.
