This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator by a period of six months. 4.

Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to Loan Agreement dated 05.03.2019 executed between the Petitioner and Respondent No. 1 in furtherance of 'Request for Proposal' dated 12.09.2017, Sole Arbitrator was appointed to adjudicate the disputes. By order dated 28.10.2024, mandate of the Arbitrator was extended by six months since the same was expiring on 27.11.2024, with the consent of the O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 534/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. parties. The extended mandate has expired on 26.05.2025 and during the hearing before the learned Arbitrator on 21.05.2025, Respondents No. 1 and 3 gave their consent to seek extension of mandate by six months. The arbitral proceedings are stated to be at the stage of cross-examination of witnesses of Respondents No. 1 and 3 by Respondent No. 2. 5.

Issue notice.

Mr. Brajesh Kumar, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of Respondent No. 2 and on instructions, submits that Respondent No. 2 has no objection to the extension of mandate of the Arbitrator. 7.

Order dated 21.05.2025 passed by the learned Arbitrator reflects that Respondents No. 1 and 3 have given no objection to the extension of the mandate of the Arbitrator. Respondent No. 2 also has no objection to the extension.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the Arbitrator is extended by a period of six months from 17.07.2025 and period between 27.05.2025 to 16.07.2025 is regularized.

Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
