O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 435/2019 This petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 with a prayer to extend the time for the Sole Arbitrator to render the Award, till April 15, 2020. I note there are three respondents arrayed in the memo of parties. I have been informed that respondent no.3 Rashid Jamal was proceeded exparte before the learned Sole Arbitrator. Mr. Manish Srivastava, learned counsel for respondent nos. 1 and 2 has given his consent for the extension of time. Noting the aforesaid, the time for the Sole Arbitrator to complete the proceedings and render the award is extended till April 15, 2020. The petition stands disposed of.
