The instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed on behalf of petitioner seeking following prayer: "(i) issue a writ direction or order in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents/NCTE to consider the request of the Petitioner for starting additional intake of 50 students i.e. The second unit of B.Ed. Course in the next scheduled meeting as to be held by the Respondent No.2 as per the Regulations; and/or

IN THE ALTERNATIVE:

Direct the Respondents/NCTE to process the request application dated 19.07.2022 (Annexure P-6) as submitted by the Petitioner seeking grant of permission for starting additional intake of 50 students i.e. The second unit of B.Ed. Course in the petitioners institute as per the rules and regulations in a time bound manner in the ends of justice..."

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner states that the application of the petitioner dated 19.07.2022, which is pending before the respondents, has not yet been decided yet.

Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to treat the present writ petition as a representation, on behalf of the petitioner, which is to be decided within four weeks, under intimation to the petitioner herein.

Furthermore, the petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court again, if any grievance arises.

No further relief is prayed for.

In view of the above, the writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 7.
