The present petition under Section 25B(8) of the Delhi Rent Control Act seeks the following prayers:

"i. Quash the impugned order dated 04.07.2019 passed by Sh. Shishir Aggarwal, Ld. ARC, Delhi in E. No. 54/2019 85 New No. 408/19 tiled 'Smt. Vidya Rani through Attorney Holder Sh. Hukam Chand vs. Munna Lal & Anr.' by declaring the same as illegal and against the well settled principles of law.

ii.

Direct the Ld. Trial court to decide the case bearing E. No. 54/2019 & New No. 408/19 tiled 'Smt. Vidya Rani through Attorney Holder Sh. Hukam Chand vs. Munna Lal & Anr.' on merits after deciding the application to be filed by the petitioner seeking leave to contest the case; and iii) Pass such other orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit or proper."

On the last date of hearing, i.e., 28.01.2026, Mr. Kamal Kant Jha, Advocate had sought discharge as despite his best efforts, he could not contact the petitioner and obtain instructions in terms of order dated 20.12.2024 and The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed in default for non-prosecution and disposed of accordingly.
