O R D E R

% 08.07.2017 This writ petition is against the award dated 06.11.2007 in ID No.103/2004 wherein the compensation of Rs.60,000/- was awarded to the workman. The impugned award was stayed subject to the petitioner depositing a sum of Rs.30,000/- with the Registrar General of this Court and the direction was given to place it in FDR initially for six months.

Learned counsel for respondent / workman is inclined to settle the matter on the amount of Rs.30,000/- already deposited with the Registry along with interest receivable on said FDR. In fact in Pre Sitting of Lok Adalat both the parties have agreed to this settlement in full and final settlement. Learned counsels for parties even agreed that there shall be no other claim in respect of this

dispute and it shall be full and final settlement of all claim which are subject matter of this writ petition.

In view of settlement, the amount of Rs.30,000/- lying in FDR with Registry along with interest accrued thereon shall be released to the workman within four weeks from today on completion of formalities. Nothing remains in the petition. In view of above, the petition stands disposed of. Order dasti.
