The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to respondent nos.1 to 4 (police officials) not to harass or torture the petitioners on false complaint made by respondent no.5, his family members and other relatives.
The petitioners further pray that respondent no.5, his family members and other relatives be also directed not to interfere in the peaceful marital life of the petitioners in any manner. 2.
It is the petitioners' case that they are majors and have married against the wishes of family members of petitioner no.1, in particular respondent no.5, who is the father of petitioner no.1.

They apprehend that false complaints would be made against the petitioners and they would be subjected to harassment from the police authorities.
They also apprehend that respondent no.5 would interfere in their marital life.
The petitioners are permanent residents of Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh and state that they are currently residing in Rishi Nagar, Amar
Colony, Nangloi, New Delhi.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondents, state that the petitioners' current address has been verified and that the said address is incorrect.

In view of the averments made in the present petition, this Court considers it apposite to direct the petitioners to appear before the concerned SHO (SHO Nangloi) on 10.11.2019 at 10:30 AM. The concerned SHO shall evaluate the threat perception and afford the petitioner such protection as is necessary within his jurisdiction.
Insofar as the apprehension of any complain or harassment from the police authorities is concerned, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners states that a complaint has been filed in PS Nangloi and none of the officials of the said police station have contacted the petitioners in any case.

Insofar as the apprehension regarding interference from respondent no.5 is concerned, the concerned SHO is directed to provide the petitioners phone numbers of the beat staff of the concerned police officials who can be contacted in case of any eventuality. It is also directed that if any complaint is filed by the petitioners, the same would be considered and processed in accordance with law.

No further orders are required to be passed in this petition. The same is disposed of.
