Petition under Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023/Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 read with has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner for quashing of FIR No. 0258/2018 registered under Sections 500/504/506/509/354(D) IPC at P.S. Patel Nagar and the proceedings emanating therefrom in terms of the Compromise Deed dated 20.05.2025.

It is submitted that the Petitioner and the Respondent had got into friendship but when the Complainant came to know that the Petitioner is already married, she tried to break up but was harassed and stalked by the Petitioner. However, now the parties have arrived at a settlement vide The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Petitioner and the Complainant are present before this Court in person and have been identified by their Counsel and Investigating Officer concerned.

The parties have endorsed the amicable Compromise Deed dated 20.05.2025 and accepted the terms thereof voluntarily and have undertaken to remain bound by the terms of the Settlement. No objection certificate/affidavit of the Respondent No. 2 dated 06.05.2025 is annexed in support of the settlement.

In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served in continuing with the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. Hence, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto.

In view of the aforesaid, the FIR No. 0258/2018 registered under Sections 500/504/506/509/354(D) IPC at P.S. Patel Nagar and the proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed. 7.
