O R D E R

% 23.05.2017 The petitioner, by the present petition, seeks a direction to respondent Nos.1 and 3 to enrol the petitioner as an advocate. The petitioner has done his LLB (three years course) from Tilak Dhari Law College, Jaunpur, UP. There were some issues with regard to the recognition of the said college and, accordingly, the petitioner was not being enrolled.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.2 College submits that the College has completed all the formalities of the Bar Council of India and the students are eligible for enrolment. Learned counsel appearing for the Bar Council of Delhi WP(C) 2101/2017

submits that the Bar Council of Delhi has received an intimation from the Bar Council of India that the respondent No.2 College has complied with the conditions laid down by the Bar Council of India and all students, who were admitted in the College till academic year 2013-14 are eligible to be enrolled as an advocate He submits that since the petitioner had enrolled in the college in the academic session 2011-12, the petitioner is now eligible for enrolment. He submits that application of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law in the next meeting of the Enrolment Committee.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in view of the above, he does not wish to press the present petition. However, he reserves his right to approach Bar Council of Delhi for an expeditious enrolment through the process of circulation. In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed with liberty to the petitioner as prayed for. Order Dasti under the signatures of the Court Master.
