CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIBHU BAKHRU

% 14.11.2019 1.
The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be given for his release on parole for a period of three months in FIR No. 226/2010 under Section 302/304-B IPC, registered with Police Station Burari.
2.
The petitioner seeks parole on the ground that the wedding of his brother is scheduled to be solemnized on 15.11.2019. The said fact has been verified.
3.
It is seen that the petitioner had been released on furlough on three occasions this year, one being on 17.10.2019 to 01.11.2019. It is, thus, seen that the petitioner had surrendered just days ago. In this view, the petitioner would not be entitled to be released on parole. Nonetheless, in view of the fact that it has been verified that his brother is getting married on
15.11.2019, this Court considers it apposite to direct that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of one week from the date of his release. This is subject to the petitioner furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹20,000/- with one surety of the equivalent amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent. The petitioner shall also provide his mobile number and ensure that he is reachable on the said mobile phone number at all times. 4.
The petition is allowed in the aforesaid terms. 5.
