This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking appointment of the Arbitrator.

Disputes between the parties emanate from a Purchase Order dated 07.04.2022 placed by the Petitioner on the Respondent for IP68-RATED CCTV Cameras. Petitioner urges that the required number of cameras were installed but within a year they started malfunctioning and disruptive the sooth functioning of Petitioner's work. Petitioner's procurement team regularly sent e-mails to the Respondent bringing to its notice the problems and requesting for repairing the cameras to honor the warranty obligations, but there was no response. Petitioner invoked the Arbitration Clause 06 in the Purchase Order, whereby parties agreed to refer the disputes arising out ARB.P. 980/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. of the said order for adjudication to Arbitrator and sent a notice dated 07.05.2025 but there was no response from the Respondent. 3.
Mr. Sumeet Kaul, learned counsel for the Respondent fairly and candidly, on instructions, does not dispute the existence of the Arbitration Agreement and submits that the Court may appoint the Sole Arbitrator. 4.
Accordingly, Ms. Preeti Singh, Advocate (Mobile No. 7903754090) is appointed as Sole Arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes between the parties. Arbitral proceedings will be held under the aegis of Delhi International Arbitration Centre ('DIAC'). Fee of the Arbitrator shall be fixed as per fee schedule under DIAC (Administrative Cost & Arbitrators' Fees) Rules 2018.

Learned Arbitrator shall give disclosure under Section 12 of the 1996 Act before entering upon reference.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and all rights and contentions of the parties are left open. 7.
