The Applicant's anticipatory bail application was disposed of as withdrawn by order of this Court dated 17th July, 2025. In the said order, an undertaking on behalf of the Applicant to surrender was recorded, and accordingly, one week's time was granted to the Applicant to surrender before the Trial Court.

Mr. Madhav Khurana, Senior Counsel for the Applicant, states that due to the Applicant's responsibility towards his ailing father, emotional distress, and inexperience with criminal proceedings, there was an unintentional six-day delay in surrendering before the Trial Court. application has been filed seeking leave to surrender. Additionally, it is prayed that the Applicant be permitted to surrender before the Investigating Officer instead of the Trial Court.

Having regard to the above facts, the application is allowed, and the Applicant is permitted to surrender today before the concerned IO. 4.
The delay in surrender shall not be held against the Applicant or prejudice his rights in any manner.
