This writ petition challenges the decision of the respondents in prescribing higher qualifications for appointment to the post of Directors of the Indian Institute of Management. It is submitted by ld. counsel for the petitioners that in view of the fact that the respondents are proposing to bring out the legislation captioned as "Indian Institute of Management Bill, 2017" on the issues raised by the writ petitioner, he does not wish to pursue this writ petition and he may be permitted to withdraw the same.
