The Petitioner seeks directions against Respondent No. 1 to carry out the correction of name/person details of the deceased i.e., Sh. Sher Singh Bawa in his death certificate and against Respondent No. 2 to issue a fresh death certificate bearing the correct details. 2.

The Court is informed that after the filing of the present petition, Respondent No. 1 has made the necessary correction in their records, which has now been intimated to Respondent No. 2.

In view of the above, Mr. Nirvikar Verma, counsel for Respondent No. 2 states that they shall now proceed to carry out the necessary correction in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from today. 4.
