This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A(4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Sole Arbitrator.

Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to a Partnership Deed dated 10.03.2014, Sole Arbitrator was appointed by this Court on 11.11.2022 in ARB.P. No. 119/2022 and the Arbitrator entered upon reference on 12.12.2022. From time to time, mandate of the Arbitrator was extended and lastly vide order dated 20.12.2024, in OMP (MISC)(COMM) 978/2024 upto 16.07.2025. It is stated that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of evidence of claimant's witnesses.

Issue notice.

Ms. Aayushi Jain, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent and on instructions, submits that Respondent has no objection to the extension of mandate of the Sole Arbitrator. 5.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator is extended by a period of 12 months from 02.09.2025 and period between 17.07.2025 to 01.09.2025 is regularised.
