The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India assailing the order dated 18.07.2024 passed by the respondents whereby the petitioner has been transferred from Force Headquarters, SSB, New Delhi to 14th Bn, Nagam, J&K. 2.

On the last date of hearing, learned counsel for the respondents was granted time to obtain instructions. Pursuant thereto, he has filed a copy of the petitioner's application dated 24.04.2024 wherein he had specifically requested that he be posted to 2nd Bn/14th Bn/13th Bn so that he could retain the family quarter which could be continued to be occupied by his family while he is posted with the 14th Bn.

are not inclined to interfere with the impugned order. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner who is present in Court submits that petitioner be granted some additional time to join his new place of posting.

Learned counsel for the respondents fairly does not oppose this limited request of the petitioner.

We, accordingly, dispose of the writ petition by granting the petitioner time till 16.08.2024 to join at his place of posting. 6.

While disposing of the petition, we also clarify that Dr. Vijendra Mahndiyan was present on behalf of the respondents on 29.07.2024 as well.
