The Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 BNSS has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking interim parole for one week to arrange and perform the yearly barsi ceremony/ritual of the deceased child.

The petition has enclosed herewith the copy of the Barsi card, which has been printed for observing the Barsi ceremony on 30.07.2024 from 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 noon, to be followed by lunch. The copy of the Booking receipt of the Dharamshala, has also been annexed along with the petition.

From the documents placed on record, it is evident that the arrangements have already been made apparently by the mother of the deceased child. Considering the background and the circumstances, the petitioner is granted custody parole to be taken to attend the ceremony on 30.07.2024 from 10:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m.

The Petition is accordingly disposed of.
