This petition has been filed seeking direction that they be not harassed by the police officials without reason.

The APP for the States that the petitioner has only been summoned by notice dated 07th May, 2024 to join an inquiry regarding a complaint vide DD No.77 dated 29th April, 2024 alleging cheating. The complaint has been filed by one Vijay Laxmi Babbar, as per the APP for the State. 3.

There is no merit in this petition. Summoning for purposes of inquiry is part of investigation, and not harassment. 4.

Accordingly, the petition is dismissed. Pending applications, if any, are rendered infructuous.
