The present Petition has been filed for modification of the Order dated 16.05.2024.

It is submitted that the petitioner be permitted to be released on Furlough on furnishing of a cash surety of Rs. 10,000/- instead on one surety of like amount. The petitioner has not been able to arrange any surety. Earlier, he was released on the surety of his brother, Kadir, but because of financial and personal reasons, he also has refused to stand surety. There is no other person willing to stand surety from him. The petitioner is suffering from mental stress and hardship and hence, the modification is sought. 3.

On the last date i.e. 16.05.2024, it had been stated in the Status Report that the petitioner has five brothers and six sisters though his parents have expired and no one is willing to stand surety for him. Considering the submissions made, the Order granting the Furlough dated 16.05.2024 is hereby modified and the petitioner be released on Furlough on his furnishing a cash surety of Rs. 10,000, subject to the condition that he shall disclose his permanent address and shall report to the SHO concerned on every alternate Friday.

Petition accordingly disposed of.
