None has appeared on behalf of the Appellants. 2.

Learned Counsel for the Insurance Company/Respondent No. 1 submits that this Appeal has been preferred by the Driver-Owner of the offending vehicle, who have sought reduction of the amount awarded to the Claimants, as compensation. It is further submitted that the recovery rights have been granted to the Insurance Company against the owner for recovery of compensation amount. Further, an Appeal bearing MAC. APP. No. 573/2019 was filed on behalf of the Claimants seeking enhancement of the compensation amount. The same has been disposed of vide Order dated 28.02.2023 whereby the compensation has been enhanced. The present Appellants/driver-owner were also a party in the said MAC APP No. 573/2019.

Once, the enhancement has been permitted, nothing survives in the present Appeal. Moreover, none is present on behalf of the Appellants. 4.
