The present writ petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is in the nature of habeas corpus seeking a direction to the Respondents to trace and produce the daughter of the Petitioner, who is about 19 years of age and is stated to have been missing since 29.03.2025.

The daughter of the Petitioner has been traced and produced before this Court along with one Mr. Anurag Kumar. The daughter of the Petitioner has stated that she is a major and had left her house on her own accord. She states that she has married a person named Anurag Kumar. The marriage is supposed to have taken place at Arya Samaj Vaidik Mandal, Khanna Market, Delhi.

The Arya Samaj marriage between the Petitioner's daughter and Mr. Anurag Kumar is not valid. Be that as it may, this fact is of no consequence while dealing with the instant petition, and consequently, this Court is not making any observations on the same. 4.

This Court is of the opinion that the girl, being a major, has her own free will and can stay with any person she wishes to. She categorically states that she does not want to stay with her mother. 5.

Since the girl has been produced before this Court, the present petition has become infructuous.

The concerned police authorities are directed to provide adequate protection to the daughter of the Petitioner and Mr. Anurag Kumar, to whom the Petitioner's daughter states she is married. 7.
