By way of the present petition, the petitioner is seeking following prayer:

"a) Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent ; and/or Sentence Review Board (SRB) to consider the case of the petitioner and grant Premature Release to the petitioner in FIR No. . ' 165/2010, U/S 302/201 IPC, P .S. Bhalswa Dairy;" 2.

Issue notice. Mr. Sanjeev Bhandari, ASC (Crl) accepts notice on behalf of the State.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner states that the competent authority has not yet decided the application filed by the petitioner herein for his premature release and the present petition be treated as a representation on behalf of the petitioner. 4.
