Mr. Aashneet Singh, APP for State, states that the Applicant has already been granted bail by the Supreme Court vide order dated 27th October, 2025 in Special Leave to Appeal (Crl.) No. 14496/2025. The said SLP was preferred against the order dated 21st October, 2024 passed by this Court denying his earlier BAIL APPLN. 2672/2024. It is contended that the Applicant ought to have disclosed the pendency of the SLP in the present bail application, since it was filed subsequently. The Applicant, to the contrary in paragraph No. 12 of the Application avers as follows: "20. That the applicant/ accused has not filed or pending any other similar application before this Hon'ble High Court or before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India."

The contention raised on behalf of the State is well-founded, and the Applicant was indeed required to make a full and candid disclosure. Nonetheless, since bail has already been granted by the Supreme Court, the present petition is disposed of as withdrawn. However, for the omission on the part of the Applicant, which may have been inadvertent, a cost of INR 5,000/- is imposed on the Applicant, to be deposited with the Delhi Police Welfare Fund within a period of four weeks from today.
