O R D E R

The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. on behalf of the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No. 843/2022 registered under Sections 323/354/498-A/506/34 IPC at P.S. Mundka, Outer District, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes. 2.

The present FIR is an outcome of a dispute between the complainant/respondent No. 2 and her in-laws i.e. the petitioners. 3.

Mr.Sanjeev Sabharwal, learned APP for the State, submits that in the present case petitioners are the only accused persons and respondent No. 2 is the complainant/victim.

Learned counsels for the parties submit that after ironing out their differences the parties have settled their disputes and respondent No. 2 states The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. that she is happily living together with her husband and the allegations are only against the family members.

Petitioners are present in Court and have been identified by their counsel as well as by the IO/ASI Sudesh Kumari, P.S. Mundka. Respondent No. 2, who is also present in Court, has been identified by the IO/ASI Sudesh Kumari, P.S. Mundka. Respondent No. 2 reiterates that she has been happily living with her husband and as of now, she has no complaint against the present petitioners. She further states that she is giving this statement out of her own free will, volition and without any coercion. She also states that she has no objection if the present FIR and the consequent proceedings are quashed.

Learned counsels for the parties submit that no other proceedings are pending between the parties.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements and undertaking made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and since no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the present criminal proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed.

With the above directions, the petition is disposed of. The pending application also stands disposed of.
