By way of this petition under Section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, the petitioner seeks appointment of an arbitrator to adjudicate disputes between the parties under an agreement dated 20.04.2018.

Disputes having arisen between the parties, arbitration was invoked on 28.02.2024. The respondent - Delhi Development Authority ["DDA"], has filed a reply. Although the reply is not on record, a copy has been handed over in Court and is taken on record.

It is evident, therefrom, that DDA has accepted the request for arbitration, and by a letter dated 12.08.2024 has suggested five names ARB.P. 1134/2024 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. from which the sole arbitrator can be appointed. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states, upon instructions, that the petitioner has no objection to the appointment of one of the persons suggested by DDA, and will convey the name of the agreed arbitrator to DDA within two weeks from today.

Parties have, thus, been able to resolve their disputes as to the appointment of the arbitrator, and no further relief is required in this petition, which stands disposed of.

If any difficulty arises, the petitioner may file an application for revival of the petition.
