O R D E R

% 20.02.2020 Vide order dated 24.01.2020, the Hon'ble Court has, inter alia, directed as under:- "4.

On the petitioner depositing 75% of the principal amount, as recommended to be refunded by the Fee Hike Committee, the Bank Guarantee offered by it, shall be discharged.

On deposit of the said amount, the Registry will convert it into an FDR in the name of the Registrar of this court for a period of one year to be renewed from time to time till further orders of this court."

In compliance of the abovesaid order, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has deposited a Demand Draft bearing No. 288765 dated 12.02.2020 for Rs. 25,90,000/- issued by Central Bank of India (Issuuing Branch No. 2953, Alpha Code No. SUKVIH, drawee branch SSB Delhi-2332) in favour of Registrar General, Delhi High Court as 75% of the principal amount as recommended by Fee Hike Committee in Delhi High Court on 14.02.2020. He has placed on record the copies of the receiving and pay order deposited in the registry and requests that the original bank guarantee bearing No.01604BGA19000005 dated 04.12.2019 for Rs. 25,80,000/- issued by Central

Bank of India, Greater Kailash Branch, Part-II, New Delhi may kindly be returned in terms of order dated 24.01.2020 passed by the Hon'ble Court. As per office report, an amount of Rs. 25,90,000/- has been deposited by the petitioner and the said amount has been invested in the FDR. However, the FDR is still awaited.

Statement of Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Adv. learned counsel for the petitioner has been recorded separately to this effect.

In view of the above, the Joint Registrar/Deputy Registrar concerned is directed to return the abovesaid bank guarantee to the counsel for the petitioner in terms of the order dated 24.01.2020 passed by the Hon'ble Court after due receipt and identification and retaining copy thereof on record. At request, copy of order be given dasti.
