These petitions have been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.338/2024 and FIR No.337/2024 PS Rajouri Garden under Sections 323/354/354B/506/509/34 IPC. These are cross-FIRs filed between two neighbours who inhabit adjoining floors in an apartment block. 2.
The FIRs were registered on the basis of an altercation which occurred between the parties. Now, a settlement has been arrived between the parties The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. executed on 09th July, 2024 which is on record of this Court. Parties have stated that they have settled their disputes without any threat or pressure and do not wish to pursue these matters any further. 3.
The petitioners and complainants in both these matters are present before the Court and duly identified by the IO and counsel. 4.
Both Mr. Shivam Sharma and Mr. Navjeet Singh Dhingra will deposit a cost of Rs.15,000/- each in Delhi Police Welfare Fund within a period of two weeks and proof of deposit shall be placed on record within two weeks thereafter.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No.338/2024 and FIR No.337/2024 PS Rajouri Garden under Sections 323/354/354B/506/509/34 IPC and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 7.
Accordingly, the petitions are disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
