% 01.08.2017 IA No.8661/2017 This court on 8.2.2017 appointed a Presiding Arbitrator. However, a direction was passed that as the parties are trying to settle the matter the Arbitral Tribunal shall not enter reference for a period of four weeks. This direction was extended on 15.3.2017, 17.4.2017, 15.5.2017 and 14.7.2017. Parties have now settled the disputes vide Settlement Agreement dated 20.7.2017.
Learned counsel for the parties pray that the agreement be taken on record and the learned Arbitrator appointed by this court on 8.2.2017 be discharged.
The Settlement Agreement is taken on record. The parties shall remain bound by the same. The learned Arbitrator appointed on 8.2.2017 is accordingly discharged. Learned counsel for the parties also submit that the respondent has released the bank guarantees in question to the petitioner. Application stands disposed of.
