O R D E R

% 19.02.2018 Respondent no.2-Ms. Asha Rani is present in Court and has been identified by W/SI Sarita of police station Mundka. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no.1 vide Memorandum of Understanding dated 23rd August, 2016 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Her marriage with the petitioner no.1 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent passed by the Family Court, West District, Tis Hazari Court, Delhi on 2nd June, 2017. She further submits that she has already received entire settled amount of `2 lacs and she has no objection in case FIR is quashed against all the petitioners. Affidavit of respondent no.2 is also record wherein she has stated that she has received the entire settled amount

of `2 lacs, all her gold ornaments/jewellery from the petitioner no.1 and has no objection in case FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 198/2015 under Sections 498A/406/323/34 IPC registered at police station Mundka and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
