CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A. K. CHAWLA
O R D E R
% 05.03.2020 Drawing advertence to the proceedings dated 18.12.2019 before the Principal Judge, Family Courts, North District, while it comes to be pointed out that a sum of Rs.3,37,500/- is paid by the respondent by way of a cheque, learned counsel for the respondent on her part also stated that another cheque of Rs.18,750/- dated 29.02.2020 drawn on OBC in favour of the petitioner has been delivered to the petitioner. Though Mr. Rana, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent may be called upon to explain the payment of Rs.18,750/- vide said cheque dated 29.02.2020 to the entire satisfaction of the arrears or not, the Court consider such details at this stage of the contempt proceedings are not required to be gone into by the Court. Such issue can be agitated before the trial/executing Court. Pendency of the petition to such purpose would unnecessarily clog the Court. In view thereof, Mr. Rana does not press the
petition any further.
Taking into account the totality of the facts and circumstances, the contempt proceedings are dropped.
