1. None appears on behalf of the appellants despite passover.
2. The record shows that on 08.11.2023, when the appeal was taken up for preliminary consideration, the respondents' had by relying on the decision in Ram Kishan Fauji Vs. State of Haryana & Ors., (2017) 5 SCC 533, raised an objection regarding the maintainability of the appeal. The matter was, thereafter, listed on various dates but was every time adjourned either on request of the appellant or on account of non-availability of the appellant's counsel. It, therefore, appears that the appellant is no longer interested in pursuing the appeal any further.
3. The appeal is, accordingly, dismissed in default and for nonprosecution.
