The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR No. 0082/2019 under Sections 498-A/506 of the IPC registered with P.S Maidan Garhi and all proceedings emanating therefrom, be quashed. 4.
The said FIR was registered at the instance of respondent no.2. She is present in Court and is identified by the Investigating Officer. Respondent no.2 states that she had lodged the FIR in question pursuant to matrimonial disputes that had arisen between her and her husband (petitioner no.1). 5.
She states that they have since resolved all their disputes and she is living with petitioner without any complaint. In view of the same, she joins
the petitioner in praying that the FIR in question be quashed. 6.
The petitioner is present in Court and is identified by his counsel. He states that he and respondent no.2 have now resolved all their disputes and are living together. He further undertakes that he shall treat respondent no.2 with respect and dignity.

In view of the statements made before this Court, the petition is allowed and FIR No. 0082/2019 under Sections 498-A/506 of the IPC registered with P.S. Maidan Garhi and all proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.

The petitioner and respondent no.2 shall sign this order as an acknowledgment of the statements recorded herein. 9.
