This petition is filed with the following prayer: "It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble may be pleased to issue a Writ in the nature of MANDAMUS and/or any other appropriate Writ/ Order/ Direction of like nature, thereby commanding the Respondent No. 1 to implement the Minutes of the Meeting dated 14.11.2017 and to thereby fill-up all 530 vacancies of Judicial Assistants by including the names of the Petitioner Nos. 1 to 6 herein by giving them notional promotion w.e.f. 22.08.2008 as granted to their similarly situated colleagues, and to further to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS for revising of the lists issued by the Respondent No.1 on 24.12.2018 and 04.01.2019 consisting of 360 employees; and to further direct the Respondent No.

1 to prepare a comprehensive revised list of 530 Judicial Assistants by including the remaining 170 Junior Judicial Assistants for grant of notional promotions w.e.f. 22.08.2008, alongwith grant of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

all consequential/ monetary benefits, in the light of the detailed facts and circumstances narrated hereinabove." 2.

The grievance raised is that similarly situated employees have already been given promotion acting upon the policy decision taken and the petitioners are being discriminated. Further the representation (annexure-14) filed with the writ petition has not been considered. 3.

Without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent no. 1 to consider the representations of the petitioner in accordance with law, by passing a speaking order. An expeditious consideration shall be appreciated. 4.

Let the needful be done not later than four months from the receipt of the certified copy of the order.
