Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 ('BNSS') has been preferred on behalf of the petitioners with the following prayers : "a) To the respondents not to harass and torture the petitioners;

b) not to involve the petitioners in false cases by the respondent No. 4 on the instance of the respondent No. 5 to 7 without inquiry; and c) to save the life and property of the petitioners from the awful hands to the respondent No. 5 to 7."

Learned ASC for the State appears on advance notice. 3.

In brief, as per the case of petitioners, relation of the petitioners with respondent Nos. 5 to 7, who are their neighbours, is not harmonious. incident on 01.06.2024, wherein car of petitioner No. 2 caught fire, police was called by respondent No. 5, accusing petitioner No. 2 of himself burning his own car.

The grievance of the petitioners is that an attempt has been made by respondent Nos. 5 to 7 to falsely implicate the petitioner No. 2 though the car appears to have caught fire due to excessive heat. 4.

Learned ASC for the State submits that complaint regarding aforesaid issue has already been filed by the investigating agency after inquiry and no further action is pending regarding any other complaint. 5.

In the facts and circumstances, since the aforesaid complaint has already been filed, no further directions are called for at this stage. Petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
