The petitioner vide this petition is seeking directions to be issued for grant of parole for a period of 60 days. for parole be considered by the Jail Superintendent after due consideration of whether the petitioner is eligible for furlough and for release. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner on being put a specific query has stated that he has not put an application for furlough because at best it would be granted for a week or two, which may not serve is purpose. However, without filing a furlough application, his submissions are only preemptive. The petition is disposed of with the direction to first file the furlough application before the competent Authority. He shall be at liberty to approach this Court, if need be.
