The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a direction upon respondent No.2 - New Delhi Municipal Council ["NDMC"] to de-seal Shop No. 1B, AIIMS Subway, New Delhi, and to restore the petitioner's license, for the said shop.

In the course of hearing, it appears that proceedings for eviction of the petitioner, instituted by the NDMC under the Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971 ["the PP Act"], are pending before the Estate Officer. Learned counsel for the parties state that the said proceedings are at the stage of final hearing. 3.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the parties state that the petition may be disposed of, with the direction that the rights of the petitioner will be governed by the result of the proceedings under the PP W.P.(C) 14698/2023 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
