% 18.03.2016 This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to supply information in consonance with the undertaking given before the Central Information Commission (CIC) as held by this Court in W.P.(C) No.97/2016 vide order dated 12th January, 2016.

The petitioner who appears in person states that the information sought by the petitioner in compliance with this Court‟s order was rejected vide order dated 29th January, 2016 by the respondent no.2 on the ground that the petitioner has a commercial interest in the matter and, therefore, the same cannot be furnished at the cost of public interest.

Since, it is the petitioner‟s case that the letter dated 29th January, 2016 is in violation of the undertaking given by the respondents before the CIC on 16th November, 2015, the present writ

petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file an appropriate proceeding before the CIC.

With the aforesaid liberty, the present writ petition and the application are disposed of.
