Present petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent no.2 to consider the complaint dated 05th February, 2024 made against the respondent no.3-society, wherein the petitioner had alleged several financial irregularities in the balance sheets of the said society; and pass a speaking order on the same within a time bound manner. 2.

The petitioner further seeks directions to the respondent no.2 to inspect the financial and physical conditions thereof, and appoint an administrator for the respondent no.3-society. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that upon obtaining and analysing the copies of the balance sheets of the respondent no.3-society for the years 2017-2023, several financial irregularities were unearthed. states that in pursuance thereof, though the petitioner had proceeded to file a representation/complaint dated 05th February, 2024 requesting for a special audit of the respondent no.3-society, yet till date no response has been received.

Learned counsel for the Registrar of Co-operative Society (RCS), who appears on advance notice, states that the petitioner's complaint dated 05th February, 2024 is under consideration and a response has been received from the concerned Co-operative Society.

Keeping in view the aforesaid development, this Court directs the RCS to decide the petitioner's complaint dated 05th February, 2024 in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within four weeks.

Accordingly, the present writ petition along with the application stands disposed of.

The rights and contentions of all the parties are left open.
