By way of the present application, the petitioners seek condonation of delay of 61 days in re-filing the present writ petition. 4.
For the reasons contained in the application, delay of 61 days in refiling the present writ petition is condoned. 5.

By way of these three petitions, the petitioners are seeking quashing of FIR bearing Nos. 369/2020 and 415/2020, both registered at Police Station Inderpuri, Delhi for the offences punishable under Sections 147/148/149/323/308/506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter 'IPC') and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom. Brief facts of the case are that a number of PCR calls were made with regard to quarrel at Balmiki Mandi, B Block, JJ Colony, Inderpur, New Delhi. Consequently, both the aforementioned cross FIRs were registered against the petitioners as well as the respondents. The chargesheet was filed in FIR No. 369/2020 before the concerned Trial Court. However, during the pendency of the proceedings before the learned Trial Court, both the parties have resolved and settled their all disputes with each other vide Certificate of Compromise dated 24.12.2025.

Considering the same, both the petitioners and the respondents are present and have been identified by their respective counsels and Investigating Officer concerned.

It is stated that both the parties have amicably settled the present matter vide Certificate of Compromise dated 24.12.2025. 10.
On a query made by this Court, the parties who have been identified by the concerned IO, have categorically stated that they have entered into compromise out of their own free will and without any pressure, coercion or threat. It is also stated by them that the entire dispute has been amicably settled between them. The parties further state that they have no objection if both the FIRs are quashed.

In view of the above fact that the parties have amicably resolved their differences of their own free will, without any coercion and no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. It would thus be in interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. 12.
