This matter has been listed for the limited purpose of the verification of the death of the Petitioner by the Respondent/State. 2.

Learned ASC has handed over a copy of the status report dated 30.01.2025. He states that the death of the Petitioner/Convict has been confirmed.

2.1 He states that I.O. has verified the slip issued by cremation ground with respect to the last rites of the deceased Petitioner, issued by the crematorium. 2.2 He states that the said slip has been handed over by the son of the deceased to the Investigating Officer (IO).

2.3 He states that the death certificate from MCD, Karol Bagh is still awaited and upon receipt the same shall be shared by the concerned Jail The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
