The substantive prayers made in the petition are as follows: "a.

Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, Order or Directions for processing the application bearing Application ID FR-NRC-2021-07101022 of the Petitioner institution seeking recognition for the ITEP course; and/or b.

Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, Order or Directions for NOTE re-accept the processing fee or any other details as desired; and/or..."

Counsel for the parties inform me that the issue raised in the instant petition is covered by the decision of this Court rendered on 8.1.2020 in a batch of writ petitions, the lead case being W.P.(C) No.12307/2019 titled Shri Vinayak Mahavidyalay vs. National Council for Teacher Education and Anr.

Accordingly, as in those cases, the applications preferred by the petitioner will be processed. The deficiency, if any, found qua documents or submission of fee, will be notified to the petitioner separately. W.P.(C) 12326/2019 1/2

This exercise will be completed within two weeks from today. The petitioner will cure the deficiency within one week from the date of receipt of the notice.

Needless to add, since the cut-off date is 30.4.2020, the respondents will ensure that a final decision is taken on merits, at least, 10 days before the cut-off date.
