Petitioner is defending a suit for possession and recovery of mesne profits.

However, it has now been informed that there is a settlement between the parties. In terms of the statements recorded by the learned Trial Court, a consent decree has also been passed in favour of the plaintiff/respondent herein.

Learned counsel for plaintiff/respondent has also joined the proceedings through video-conferencing and admits the abovesaid development.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of as having become infructuous.
