% 24.03.2017 We have heard learned counsel for the parties. During the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in the event the Court finds that the relief claimed, i.e. reduction in the quantum of bank guarantee amount is not feasible, the petitioner may be granted liberty to claim its rights under law, especially under Sections 28(5) and (6), in the event a Show Cause Notice is issued. He submits that in these circumstances, the petition is not pressed.

Liberty granted to the petitioner to avail of the remedies

under Sections 28(5) and (6) of the Customs Act. All rights and contentions are reserved. The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
