The present Appeal, under Section 19 of the Family Courts Act, 1984 read with Section 28 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 ["HMA"], assails the Judgement dated 31.08.2022 passed by the learned Principal Judge, Family Courts, West District, Tis Hazari courts, Delhi, whereby the petition filed by the Respondent seeking divorce from the Appellant under Section 13(1)(ia), (ib) and (iii) of the HMA, has been allowed.

Mr. Ankit Gupta, Advocate, who is stated to be appearing on behalf of Respondent admits that a Settlement Deed has been executed between the parties and, in compliance thereof, certain complaints and cases have already been withdrawn. However, since certain compliances are yet to be made by the Appellant, it is prayed that the present Appeal be kept pending.

Counsel for the Respondent, however, finds no reason to keep the present Appeal pending.
