% 05.05.2025 CRL.M.A. 13887/2025 FOR DIRECTION 1.

The Court takes note of the order dated 01.08.2024, by which, this Court issued directions in Crl. MC No. 5912/2024 to the trial court to examine the prosecutrix/victim in a time bound manner with directions not to adjourn the proceedings unless absolutely necessary. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that such directions have not been complied, and in fact, charges are not settled till date. 3.

Learned Additional PP submits that supplementary charge sheet has been filed after verification of age of the prosecutrix on 14.04.2025, which resulted in delay.

Be that as it may, the fact remains that FIR pertains to the year 2016 and till date, even charges are not decided. The application is therefore disposed of with direction to the trial court to decide the question of charge on the date listed and thereafter proceed to examine the prosecutrix/victim and other witnesses in a most expeditious manner and must not adjourn the case unless it is so necessary.
